Bid calling competition raises R43 750

SAIA AGM

Auctioneers attending the AGM raised R43 750 through pledges and an exciting bid-calling competition. The funds were raised for the Signatures of Hope trust. The trust is based in Cape Town and supports Operation Smile and the Lunch Box Fund.
 
Gift Ngwenya from Auction Nation in Centurion, won the competition fair and square with his excellent and inspiring chant. He received a cheque for R10 000 and a floating trophy sponsored by The Citizen newspaper.
